So many analogies
For where I am
At this point
In my life:
I'm spinning my wheels,
I'm running in circles,
I'm chasing my tail,
Trying to understand
What, or who, it is
That is driving me
With such doggedness.
I am so tired
Of fighting the unknown
Of trying to see
What is yet to be revealed.
Why does Faith
Come so easily to some
And so tentatively to me?
All of us struggle, Rebecca, the thing is we need to let go and let God. :) He will not give us more than we can bear. He is our rest, our refuge, our strong tower. Keep on keeping on, and know you are in my prayers. Love this honest admission - well done.
Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
The songs and art in this book are about our collective emergence after the pandemic and trauma of the last few years - comprised of 5 collections: World as Refuge, Where We Live, In Our Hands, Rhythms of Change and What We See & Sow.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
