I so wanted
To win that house
And move away
To Colorado,
But it wasn't to be.
I cannot say
It was a total loss,
However,
As I remembered
How to dream
After a drought
Of dreamless years,
And I remembered
How I loved
Living among
The magestic
Rocky Mountains.
The question now
Is what will I do
With these newly
Resurrected dreams?
Will I allow them to
Sink once more
Beneath the cold surface
Of hopelessness,
Or will I ride the waves
To the shores
Of their fulfillment?
