Oh, what to buy
With so little cash
And so many demands
Upon it:
An interview next week
That I'm told to
"Dress sharp" for,
An urgent need
For ink cartridges
For school and resumes,
And, of course,
There's the usual
Food and sundries
To round out the howling
Of the wolves
Predating on my purse.
