The glory of spring
Has exploded around me
And I delight in flowers
Of every shape and hue
As I bask
In the warmth
Of the nurturing sun.
The mountains are alive
With the chatter of squirrels
And the songs of birds,
While the laughing squeals
Of children
Echo from a family's yard
Down the street.
I am a human sponge
Soaking it all up
And for the moment
I am content,
My spirit fed
By the burgeoning bounty
Of blessings,
And the promise of Life
Renewed.
