Reaching and crying out
But finding no one there,

Promised
By the rising sun,
Sometimes I succeed,
Other times...
Not.
How I Wish
I understood
Why I have
These periods
Of darkness.
I was once told
They are
The price I pay
For being so
Creative.
At this moment
I would trade
My every creative bone
For a gift
In accounting!
Darkness speaks and it's telling you that you should go out and seek the light and forget about hiding in the dark corners of your mind. There's a wonderful world out there for you to discover.
When you are in the Abyss of self sorry...
there will never be anything there... we sabotage
our-self in this manner... needless to say you keep
yourself in self-sorrow looking for a miracle to happen
that will "rescue" you... And if any soul ever told you
that it is a price you pay? Get away from that or those
souls as fast as you can, for those are dark souls...
I do like your ending line, even though I know it was said
in emotional desperation it gave me a small giggle because
how many would love to trade what they have now for something
else to escape what they are in now. :)
