A friend made this statement today, I told her it should be a poem and she said "go for it!"

Not being able to write.

Drowning in my emotions.

Do you get that way?

Do you know what I mean?

Not being able to express myself,

not being able to be me.

Not being able

to release my feelings.

I want to write,

draw or even scream!

I need to release

SOMEthing!

But, I usually just

end up drowning.

J.L., Yes, I think all writers feel a need to release something that is choking us to death. Write and release it...once it is said, "All will be well inside." Fears can rob us of our will to get out the words that hold us captive. It could be something the world is waiting to hear...don't hold back, your words might help another person.

Who hasn't suffered from writer's block. Same as stage fright. Just write what comes to mind and you will find inspiration. Read a lot too. Victor
