Moon,
Can you tune
his tone-deaf heart?
Soon, before noon,
he needs a start.
His ears are dried up,
I think they're broke...
the ones in his heart, that is.
I'm so
tired of singing for tone-deaf ears,
my melody's ringing something fierce...
If romance were a well, well, it's gone
and dried up as hell, a boring song
(bridge)
like this should be heard for the one it is for,
but no, he is snoring, what are ears for?
So, Moooooooon,
if you tune
some tone-deaf hearts,
then soon,
can you give
this one a start?
I'd be very grateful, I'd wear your beams
on words that are prayerful, by the reams.
Please Moon,
do it soon,
before noon?
Night,
Thank You,
Soon,
before noon.......?
Night, Thank You . . . . . .
