My little, dreamer, poet-girl,
your ideals pulse, they're flow right through
a mind so young, whose soul is old
enough to know there's something more......
my little, dreamer, poet-girl
you're leaving soon to see the world,
mechanical machines will fly
you to catch your dreams, the sky
will see to it you get there safe
across the world where your dream waits,
and as I try to stop my tears,
I'll feel you're love like you're still here......
the Sun is full of promise for
young minds who we encourage more,
and though I've known this from the start,
never knew it'd be this hard....
to kiss you with the wings I gave
and hope they're strong enough to take
you everywhere you want to go
Love tells me to, "trust", so go.....
little, dreamer, poet-girl,
leave soon and go see this world,
your dreams will help you to fly,
with wings I've given, touch the sky....
let your dreams fly you so high . . .
Bye, my little girl, good-bye . . .
