A Rose, By Anyother Name

And if I weren't a woman
What form, would I then be
Would I seem recognisable
Would I be the same ole me?

If my eyes were not as green
Or if my hair not red
What if cat......or sheepdog
Would you want me in your bed?

What if I were 6 foot tall
A voice of tenor......bass
Would you ignore the soul inside
For the color of my face?

I only see the image
That your inner soul portrays
All the little things you share
And love, each word it says

With all it's imperfections
With all your grace and charms
I only know I long for
The moments in your arms

If I weren't the woman
You've seen....and placed within your mind
Would you still see the soul inside
Would it be..a rose...you find?

* and.....would you pluck me...to enjoy my essence, temporarily.....or take me..to grow me in your garden, letting me bring you each new bloom..to flower forever.

Hi Krissy,
Love that blooms on thorny brier,
Sweet thoughts of you I do admire.
In words of ever endearing prose,
Within my heart,Thou art a rose.
