No relief shall be mine on the morrow
Only the constant piercing of sword
For having loved too much and well
And of living dreams in death lying still
Upon my soul deep scars I bear
Upon my bed oft I toss and turn
I find you neither here nor there
Will my fire for you forever burn?
Deep in my thoughts you yet stay
My heart is still your home
And no remedy seems to drive away
The memories that should be gone
What shall I write of thee today
With bloody ink of wounded heart?
What shall I say of reverie
That stays but should depart?
Life must go on and so must I
Perhaps on the morrow to no longer cry
