Oh how painfully sad this is, so young, too young in a split second gone forever. We have a few crosses here, they are all painted white and it really catches one's attention every time we pass by. Another life lost, what would they have become, but God called them all home...

This beautifully written poem yet so sad,
composed with heartfelt compassion
is a very creative write concerning a subject
no one ever seemed to talk about until you
brought it up to light making your readers think.......
I must say I never wondered of those poor souls the crosses
by the side of the road represented, now you have opened that door
to the consciousness of those driving by.....
I will never again look at roadside crosses the same
with disregard of those who lost their life and why....
