I just read this (again).
I have memories of the place I lived in until I was 4 years old.
So maybe I was 3?- when a playmate of mine was hit by a truck and killed. I remember my parents telling me why I couldn't play with him anymore. And I remember thinking about being run over by the big truck tire.
I hope- if there is anyone left in his family- siblings- that they could know he did live long enough to have a friend...
Who still remembers.
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. LOVELY PHRASES PRODUCE VIVID IMAGERY THAT WAS ENJOYED FROM THE FIRST LINE TO THE LAST. THANKS FOR SHARING AND GOD BLESS. LOVE, JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
Belle, you love for Carolyn pours from these words my friend -- a tragedy that'll not leave your memory -- "Carolyn" would be thrilled to hear what you have spoken of her in this tribute -- may peace and love be yours in abundance -- Jon Michael
Oh LaBelle you touch my heart with this heartbreaking piece as I had a friend, her name was Judy with beutiful curly blonde hair and she too died a young child, but I have never forgotten her...
Awww. So sad. I lost many friends at school. But I see being buried in our mother earth as kinda cosy, the dead overcoat still spinning around the sun.
In those short years she has left a gift, and prolly helped you to live every second of this short life. Death is a beginning, but it hurts those who've lost a mortal pal. Yet this pain is where compassion and empathy grow.
HI LaBelle, I am sorry for your loss. and it is a big loss because after all these years YOU still think of her! As always the sentiments were beautiful written down by your pen.
You also captured this readers heart and made me feel the loss as deeply as if it had been one of my own children or grandchildrem...painful but amazingly beautiful.
