whose talents were diverse and many
when Autumn came around
they liked to go into town
and buy an orange pumpkin for a penny
there once were two Poodles from Carolina
you’d never find two Poodles finer
they would jump in fall leaves
until both of them sneezed
and one of them became a whiner
there once were two Poodles from Georgia
who thought staying indoors was torture
when fallen leaves swirled around
all over the frosted ground
they went out in their Poodle couture
There once were two Poodles from Alabam
one named Susie, one named Sam
they thought fall was great
and for the season couldn’t wait
but for Winter they didn’t give a damn
there once were two Poodles from Missisip
who always took a Summer road trip
but they came back home soon
in time for the harvest moon
and into a harvest celebration they would slip
there once were two Poodles from Lusianne
who lived their lives with a brilliant plan
enjoy all the colors day by day
take time to nap and time to play
if you do then your years will be grand
