THROUGH ROSE COLORED GLASSES
I once visualized a child who was not instinctively violent, contemptuous or selfish...
But I have come to know of no such child.
I once visualized men who lived socially aspired lives—understanding, loving—all but themselves;
Men who honestly cared about humanity, giving to all,
while truly loving all but themselves...
But I have come to know of no such men.
I once visualized a nation that, while extending a helping hand,
did so without economic or political agendas...
But I have come to know of no such nation.
I once visualized our world as one,
living in harmonious peace,
giving, sharing, loving, growing as one...
But I have come to know of no such world.
I have come to know that all things are real.
