Easter by Kids Peeps and fuzzy bunny tails Pink and purple without fail Glue and scissors, paper scraps A cup of green dye in my lap. This day of school has been such fun With chocolate for everyone The little ones with faces fresh Have yet to learn the very best. The love of Jesus shining through These smiling children loved by you With any luck someday soon They too will hear a heavenly tune.
The last day of school before Easter I was working with the 2nd grade helping dye Easter eggs. One of the boys reached across the table and knocked a whole cup of green dye into my lap.
