Nobody want's way. Some rant and rave against those who are willing to lay down their lives in war. Perhaps war does not solve much because they tend to be repeated but my prayer of thanksgiving certainly goes out to those brave people who gave their lives just before I was born. Through their sacrifice I have been able to live my life never having seen a war in my country. Never having to put on a uniform and fight for peace. So many blessings to count, praise the Lord.

Wonderful write Sharron! Its seems indeed that war is looming and and with it alot of opinions on the matter come to the surface. I am for certain no expert on such things. Often times I hear the question, "What can we possibly win by going into this confrontation?" But I wonder if maybe the question should be, "What might we lose if we dont?" I dont know.

Unfortunately, the same evil exists here - but the US is sanctioned to maintain an "enduring stockpile" of weapons of mass destruction, because we are one of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, and pay 22 percent of the UN bills. Iraq is also a member, since 1945. It has to stop EVERYWHERE! Sorry, soapbox under this grandma... the write was very touching.
