A glimpse of a childs first days in Kindergarten ...

Innocent eyes look up at me From a tiny angel face Will you show me how to do it She says in curls and lace Innocent eyes look up at me From a brave and fearless lad A tiny lip that trembles Won't you take me to my Dad Innocent eyes look up at me Away from a loving nest To a place that's full of strangers Where we're asked to do our best Innocent eyes look up at me Tiny arms wrap around my waist I need to know I'm safe here This is the biggest change I've faced Innocent eyes look up at me Filled with loving trust To protect you here all through the day Your eyes tell me I must

Loved this write Sharon..
My precious Granddaughter Brooke
started kindergarten this year.
I was more horrifed than she.
She did beautifully and she loves
it. My hats off to you and all the
wonderful teachers who make our
kids and grandkids feel special
and protected.

Once the innocent eyes look into yours, you know you will and can have the strength to do anything you have to do to protect those innocent eyes. GREAT write!
