Mirrored reflections of long lost yesterdays
Quicken in my mind
Am I so bold to think
That I could hide away from the beating of my heart
For I have always followed my hopes and dreams
As I listen to my heart
Be still my flesh and bones
For my heart is always open
No matter where I roam
For I will always remember all the things
That I have said and done
Just to find direction in my life
As I make my way back home
For once I was lost within the innocence of youth
Burnt by the seed of loves sacred flame
As I move through life's rich tapestry
I know that I will find the quiet place inside
And there I will wipe the tears of all those years
That have marked the essence of my heart
