Less I Speak
Vested seeds that I have sown
Where now I rest within this silent groan
For meek am I before thy hand
Is there hope you'll understand
Solace found by a humble crumb
That I have found upon my thumb
Concealed within the thoughts of what I've heard
Was I lost within these foreign words
Twined of hand and slight of heart
Where once was life now cold departs
So lost am I within this heart
Solemn vow I say to thee
Where now I rest on bended knee
Less I speak in foreign tongues
Beneath the light of yonder sun
Foretold to bare, but seldom told
Less I speak, admits the cold
