With That Thought

This world is less than ordinary
For this world is truly extraordinary
How the daylight meets the sky
As the clouds go passing slowly by

Rivers flowing to greet the sea
Flowers blooming just to be
With the thought of you and me
Two hearts as one beside the sea

No longer shall we need to run
This is a world, In need of fun

Misunderstood in riddle and rhyme
Tears subside, given a little time

Even if it seems we are hanging by a sliver of rope
Beyond our hearts we have our hope
For it’s in our hearts and that’s our home
And with our thoughts we are not alone

Lovers may leave and friendships fade
But you are the light beyond the shade
You are the key beyond the maze
And with that thought you should be praised
