I Felt The Fire Of Dragons Breath

MacBeth had spoken in riddles and rhymes
Killing poets while splitting lines
And yet I have walked through the valley of death
And felt the fire of dragons breath

And I had seen false coloured dreams
And felt the violence of her screams
And yet it felt like I was in a scene
And I had found myself, to be quite unclean

And thou I had felt the women scorned
I shed no tears nor did I morn
For she was purged by intolerable acts
That she had made upon her back

And I had felt the cracking of savage whips
That cut like knives, till thoughts are forced beyond your lips

And less I have found, as I seek in you
And to this my heart, I must be true

One lock of hair to show I care
So take it now, if you dare
And look upon me with your gentle stare
To signify how much you care
