I Have Quivered Before The Brazing Sun

I have quivered before the brazing sun
And heard the calls of the ancient ones
A verse foretold of days, of old
That could be counted, beneath the cold

No noble deeds nor noble steed
gave way to, our creations creed
Less it be known that we are one
Beneath the light of the brazen sun

Solitude follows sadness, with tears of gladness
But we are threads, of iridescent giving’s
But we partake, in all our livings
By what we know, and how to express and show
And that is how our feelings grow

What lesser man could understand
The power held within their hands
And not be rich within this land

Plentiful seeds are sown a plenty
Be though they’re sown in earnest, upon tempered soil
No longer shall they rise to spoil
