Jonathan. You know the scuttlebutt was that you were lost

Jonathan. Quite right you are, perhaps we should get a bite to eat
Michael. And where in the dickens should we go
Jonathan. Well I believe there’s a new coffee house around the corner

Arriving at the coffee house
Michael. Well good morning miss Chadwick
Miss Chadwick.. Morning to you both, lovely morning isn’t it?
Jonathan. Yes quite
Miss Chadwick. And what have the two on you got planed for the day then
Michael. Well I thought a spot of coffee and a bite to eat, then maybe a game of golf perhaps.
Jonathan. Hardly, I believe it’s a nice day for coffee and then a movie
Miss Chadwick. Well gentlemen both sound great I’m sure you will enjoy whatever you choose.
Michael. Yes quite
Jonathan. And what have you got planed for today Miss Chadwick?
Miss Chadwick. Well I must dash down the mail shop and post a letter, then perhaps a spot of gardening
Michael. Sounds nice.
Miss Chadwick. Well I shouldn’t hold you up any longer, good day Gentlemen
Michael. Yes, good day Miss Chadwick.
Jonathan. Have a lovely day
Miss Chadwick. Indeed I will, bye

Waitress. Hello and what could I get you gentlemen today?
Jonathan. I think I’ll have a tea and blueberry scone
Michael. And I’ll have a salad sandwich on rye bread and hold the mayo and an espresso thank you
Waitress. Ok gentlemen if you take a seat, I’ll bring your order over shortly
Jonathan. Well Michael where should we sit?
Michael. I would say by the window would be nice
Jonathan. Did you see in the morning paper that the government intends the increase the level of income tax by 3 percent in the next six months?
Michael. No I hadn’t seen the paper for the day.
Jonathan. Michael you should pay more attention to things, they’ve found two new moons in the rings of Saturn as well I believe.
Michael. Really and how does that affect the going on’s of the day?
Jonathan. Whatever do you mean Michael?
Michael. Well out of sight, out of mind. If you hadn’t brought it up I wouldn’t of known about it.
Jonathan. Michael. You’ll never learn about current affairs and culture living in a shoebox. (Smile)
Michael. Jonathan you never learn culture in the paper either, culture is found in the gallery, or museum not the paper, (laugh)
Jonathan. And when was the last time you visited the opera? (Gesture)
Michael. Well for your information dear fellow, I was there just last week. Madame butterfly was playing at the theatre (Grin)
Jonathan. And was it any good I had been planning to go see it later this week
Michael. It was brilliant well worth seeing; I’ll come with you if you want
Jonathan. Splendid it’s a date then (smile)
Second Waitress. Gentleman heres your order and who was the salad sandwich and coffee for
Michael. Ah that would be me (smile and Gesture)
Second Waitress. So you must be the tea and blueberry scone then
Jonathan. Yes thank you (smile)
Second Waitress. And here is your bill enjoy your meal (smile)
Michael. I’m sure we will, thank you (smile)
Jonathan. And what is the bill?
Michael. Quite reasonable, I’ll get this one; you can get it next time
