No Two Thoughts Are Ever The Same

The morning scent of summer rain
Has dripped across my window pane
Clouds seem to drift so high
To stop and think and wonder why

Humanities nature should be bright
But alas it isn’t in this light
Something warns us, there’s still time to change
To know of thee, in thy good name

Whispers echo with the faded calls
For thou had written it upon these walls
No two thoughts are ever the same
Yet in this world, hope still remains

What will outlast and still be broken
Even if the written word is never spoken
For no two wrongs shall ever make it right
But alas there is hope that the future will be bright
