Seasons Change
No sooner is it said and than done
One life and like the splinters run
Listen to the silent hum
What right gives way to reason?
And from what direction are the seasons
Seasons change and so do hearts
And this is where the shadows start
Weep, even though you’re not the weeper
And I am here but not the keeper
No two seasons are the same
And life is lived but not in vain
Less I be etched in stone
Then be carved of flesh and broken bone
Season change and like the tears
That I have shed over fallen years
No fabled words I have departed
Even when life has left me broken hearted
For seasons come and seasons go
And I am here, let’s start the show

I'm enthralled by this beautiful poem about life, and seasons, and
the truth it imparts. "Even when life has left me broken hearted...seasons come and seasons go..." - a basic truth we all know.
