Echoes Whisper In The Night

One will outlast but not withstand
Upon foolish claims that lead to fame
For I am bound by mortal hands
And I have loved beside the flame

And I have raised the blade and pierced the night
And felt the sting where vipers strike

Murmur now, for I have known thee well
For I have cast you deep within my spell
Non-believers have grown tired and weak
I laugh at thee for I am meek

And like the vipers in my sight
I hear the echoed whispers of the night
Beyond this world and not forsaken
There is more if I’m not mistaken

Daylight leads and so it breeds
The earth is bound with endless seeds

And I had glanced upon boundless sights
And mourn the passing of endless nights
Saved for one and to none forthwith
And there is time before we shift
