All Good Things Have Come To Measure

Like splintered grains of sand
Pass swiftly through my waiting hands
And like the sands within hourglass
I honour the knowledge gained in the past

And to yearn with the yearning that I endure
Even when my heart is pure

And there is purity in the coming rains
That leads the way to constant change

So now I rest on bended knee
Before my god beneath this tree
Life springs forth and hopes eternal
Beneath the coven of the nocturnal

To have basked beneath the moon in flight
And bare witness to the dancing night
To caress the light that awaits within
And to have witnessed the life awaken therein

It’s endearing how thoughts come together
And in all good things have come to measure

With no tattered beads shall I break
And I shall be honest and never fake
False leads, lead to lies
And there is tenderness behind my eyes
