Quell Not Nor Belittle Me So

Aloof within these lofty skies
Among the clouds where eagles fly
Dare not and thou has dared within
And there are questions caught therein

Less ye be the seed of seeded thought
Less ye be the lesson of lessons taught
There is a reflection of light therein
And to utter words to gentler kin

Timed be thy heart in wonder
Beneath the rhythm of heavens thunder
Quell not nor belittle me so
For I am flexed like humble bow

And from yonder light within thy wake
There is the love that I partake
Shake not unless ye are shaken
For there impart and I am taken

To warm thy hands with love impart
And feel the splinters within my heart
Stars have glimmered within my sight
A sweet sunder to sombre nights
