Crimson Tide

Sombre mourn the day in hue
Beneath the sky a sea of blue
Sweeping winds of crimson tide
Alas to sweep away pride

For solemn it is said and done
Beneath the rhythm of the urban hum

A mirror reflection cast their lairs
Weathered be thy rustic chairs
Cries have not echoed out of lust
Nor are there times in which I hush

Shall it be as thou have seen
So serene, in serpents dream
Cast the splinters in my side
Alas to run to far to hide

Echoes whisper in the winds
Alas to shelter in your sins

Sins are laid, but never spoken
Also to shelter beside the ocean
Crimson tide to cast their eyes
Among the shadows of their lies
