Tainted Words Summerset sound of soulful kisses Iridescent gentle mist Should I breathe so that I might live Perhaps one moment to forgive For seek unless ye are shaken There are times my heart is breaking Seldom are the tears I shed Alas one moment before I wed One breath in silence Among the seeds of earthly violence Beckon ye among the sires Listen to the timber fires Glisten in the still of night Beacon of thy gentle light Warm thyself upon my heart Gentle breath, which I impart Unless I grieve within that notion Tainted words alas I’ve spoken

"Warm thyself upon my heart..." great line and very moving as is the rest of the poem.
