Heaven Knows

As I listen to my inner thoughts
Bound by promises, by which I’m taught
Have you known my gentle hand?
As there is hope you’d understand

One noble deed is never wasted
And life is never left nor hated
Beneath the breath that lingers in
There are the feelings deep within

To know thy faith with outstretched hand
Humble be thy hearts of man
Shadows cast before the cross
What is bound, but never lost

For heaven waits among the hue
Beneath a sea of endless blue
Thou hath known thy faith, I favour
Lord above you are my saviour!
