To Honour Life
My coveted vein within my heart
Was it brazen to be the light perceived?
Then to be set forth upon this night
No beggar, meek among the cradle
Even though my hand is stable
Cherished breath in parting whim
Deem the life that dwells within
One light, a glimpse of paradise
To catch the light therein your eyes
Thou is, as I have found in you,
Beautiful soul my heart is true
Unless I be lesser, then a noble man
Then to walk among fools
With my out stretched hands
My breath is my body in earthly whim
My eyes are the light, that a waits therein
Deem it be thy life,
Then to walk among thieves in strife
Pray that I will never numb
Beside this coveted, lonely sum
Praise I’ll be thy earthly beauty
To honour life in all its duty
To honour life in all its duty
These are worthy aspirations as shared through your verses, Darryn. Thank you. Love and peace to you,
Regis
