Hiding Among The Shadows, Yeah Right! That’s A Fabulous Life

What a joke the demon world is
Really what do humanity, see in the darker side
Hiding among the shadows, yeah right! That’s a fabulous life
See, I’ve lived among the shadows
And heard the whispers of the dammed

There are those are who think that Satan is really cool
When really he’s just an abomination, and that’s the common rule
As he was cast down from the heavens, as the angel light
Who really gives a damn if he thinks that he was right

As I have heard the whispers and demons talk
I’ll tell you straight what the demon world thinks of you and me
See demons view humanity as parasites
And they have no problem stripping away your dignity

Nor do they have an issue with stripping away your humanity
To a demon you’re a vile disgusting abomination
And yet some of those among us think the dark realm is cool
And man! I’ll tell you straight they’re in for a big surprise

See I’ve seen evil shriek in the presence of my lord and god
And I used to hate demons, and with good reason too I might add
But after walking in the light and feeling gods love, I can only pity the damned
See a demon only has one purpose, and that’s to suck the life from humanity

To them you’re the impurity that walks upon this earth
But you should remember Satan was cast down upon the earth
And as it was said; Satan was once, Lucifer the angel of light
What gets me is, I personally never thought that darkness was that bright

Hiding in the shadows, hidden from the day
Its funny how they always seem to come at 3am everyday
Now to me it was the darkest hour, and really no demon has ever had any real power
Much like a leach, they’ll feed on the living, because to them your just humble prey

And believe me! I’ve heard them voice false prophets and demon gods
And I can bare my testimony that all they ever did to me, was use me as a punching bag
And yes, I have been bitten more than once or twice
I’ve felt the essence of a lifeless from, beneath my very skin

And I’ll tell you, it is a cold and cruel existence, as there is no compassion
Nor does love exist all you’ll ever feel is the viper’s bitter kiss
See, I’ve sat among the coolness, and I’ve breathed the deadly mist
I’ve felt the hand of creeping death, and believe me now, as I walk among the light
I can personally verify, that the demon world is something! That I will never miss

As that miserable shit stole, 18 years away from my life
And believe me, I’ve seen the demons realms shriek in fear
And Satan you were defeated, by the hand of my loving god and our lord Jesus Christ
And as it was with me, when resurrected into light, you’ll be defeated once again, when you meet your final end!

And that’s the thing! This poem isn’t fiction it is fact!
As, I’ve been as honest as I am with you. I’ll say Amen, and thank you, my lord and god for that!
