I Believe 

I believe in honesty and respect
As I have felt the sting of my neglect
I believe in being open with my friends and lovers
After all, we are all kindred brothers

I believe in sensuality
As it is but of my personality
I believe that life is so demanding
And yet my heart is filled with understanding

No two wrongs can make a right
Beneath the stars in heavenly light
My heart sings songs, like hymns in rainbows
And I have felt the harshness, where the ill winds blow

Love has never been demur; even if I have felt its lure
And yet my heart has known of love so pure
My breath has awakened a sense in me
And with thy breath, I have come to honour thee

Thou are the beacon that besieges me this night
Beneath the heavens, besieged in light
Crescent moon among the palomino skies
Havens harp has played my sighs

I am but a humble man, with love, and hope I understand
One good deed, by which we seed
With a loving smile, and tender hand
Thou hath known the whispers upon which I breathe!
