Beautiful Morn, My Gentle Rose
Hue the morn, and morning dew
Alas I hold my thoughts of you
Twilight dwindles in my sleep
Where thou have walked with earthly feet
Twilight dreams so serene
Could I be lost in an endless dream?
Upon midday my own duress
Heavenly angel, I adore that dress
Showered by a bed of roses
Eyes sprinkle stardust upon your nose
Twilight void and slumber dream
Heaven knows your heart serene
Thou have stolen my breath away
Heaven hears the harps that play
Mystical being of beautiful light
I bid thee welcome upon this night
Sacred body, lay with me
And I will cherish all of thee
Moonlight beacons at your toes
Beautiful morn, my gentle rose
