revolving back
into my life
after a long

unexplicable absence

an old friend from
eons ago
sits silently

looking over my shoulders

observing the
mess i've managed
to make of life

so she sits down beside me

asks if she can
be of any
assistance and

                                                   i move over making room

for her the way
you make room for
commuters on

packed overcrowded buses

we talk about
the old times and
what i'd done wrong

my friend depression and i

Karla I know of this...it hits a lot of
people..just lean on God and your friends
here at the Den..that is not a "friend"
kick it in the butt....and put a big
smile on your face and write...love to you..

Make the time longer, and a do not allow that "friend" back into your life, Karla, you have better friends out here, always willing to talk, always willing to hear, just as your twin is so much better than us all, talk to her, she will hear...Peace thru a Sisters Love, Ed & Rufuz

I got rid of that old friend and told him to never come back. With friends like him, who needs . . .?

Bless you, Karla...how I do understand these feelings
you've so delicately penned!
The mood will pass, hon. Just hang on a bit longer.

I have a friend named Depresion too. He has a severe weight problem. Sometimes he's huge and near crushes me and others he can fit right next to me with ease.
Great Write.

Sounds like a 'friend' you don't need, Karla. Are you sure you want to invite back into your life? Some 'friends' are really 'enemies in disguise.'
