Another round of thunderstorms is rolling through, and this came to mind. :)

Poem Artwork

God dips His finger into dun colored clouds.
And with lightning, signs His Name across the skies.
Behold His majesty, behold His power!
As His signature's reflected in our eyes.

God claps His hands, there's a roar like no other.
A mighty peal of thunder shatters our ears.
Behold His majesty, behold His power!
As His applause is the sound we long to hear.

God squeezes the storm clouds and the rain comes forth.
He cries upon learning we've messed up once more.
Behold His majesty, behold His power!
As His sorrow is expressed in tears that pour.

God blows a forcible breath from His nostrils.
His breezes blow down blessings from Heaven's Gate.
Behold His majesty, behold His power!
The love of our Father is so very great.

God decrees the storm shall end, He clears the skies.
He spreads His hand, creates a brilliant rainbow.
Behold His majesty, behold His power!
He is the refuge we turn to when storms blow.

Well, I do, indeed love this one, Karla, me sweet... BUT.. god help me, I'm madly in love with rain and storms and thunder and all of it! Sigh.. If you wouldn't mind, I greet these "noisemakers" as a grand "how-do-you-do" but it's the same Maker who is speaking to me. This truly is 'earth-moving' poetry! Oh, yes! katy xox. p.s I shall keep this for those to read on those "awful" sunny days.. giggle. (I'm hopeless.. I just love rain!) hehe.
