To my fellow Poets , thank you .

Poem Artwork

Technicolor thoughts
fall into place ,
a waterfall
of metered verse
thunders the Muse
to action -
and so , the poet writes .

Boiling lava
overflows the pen
of the Poet
and explodes in
a pyroclastic flow
onto the page -
and so , the Poet writes .

Whispered wordsong
tantalizes the ear
with visions of
greatness
if only the poems
are written -
and so , the Poet writes .

My pyroclastic flow is just fine, thank you. You had me going there for most of this wonderfully imaginative poem. Yes, The Poet Writes, and he or she didn't write, the majority of them would blow a gut! Excuse my common language in the company of top rated wordsmiths... - Bill
