*grins* LOL Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! :)

Poem Artwork

The weight of the world falls off of my shoulders.
My heart feels light as a feather as I sprout wings.
I soar into the heavenly atmosphere.
Man, I've wanted to do this more than anything!

Caffiene can't duplicate this awesome feeling.
I cannot be arrested for this legal high.
I utilize thermals to my advantage.
Two eagles are surprised when I do a fly-by.

I soar up to the sun and dance with the moon.
I trip the light fantastic with the Northern Lights.
Stars are my stepping stones to find outer space.
The view is completely different from these heights!

I needed a vacation, some time away.
It was time to unload...unwind...and dump the crap.
A load has been lifted, I am free again.
Once you learn how to do it, flying is a snap!

(((Karla)))

Love the sassiness of this; the title took me quite by surprise; but what I read was super! Outstanding write yet again; don't let anyone clip your wings! Just soar higher than you have ever soared before! BRAVA!!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin, Karen Lynn. :D

I've said it before. I'll say it again.

"The Eagles they fly high
They shit right in your eye
It's a damn good thing for us
That cow's can't fly"

Sometimes Karla....one just has to let it all go. And you've done a fine job of it.

Adda girl, Karla! But what else would we expect from The Lady of the Lights?! And we always knew you already had wings, right?! Yup, this my childhood dream has yet to come true; I have parascended and was amazed at the stillness that there is just 100 feet above the earth... noise is all at ground level. I'd love to parachute, too, but guess that is more about diving down like a lead weight, rather than soaring up on the thermals. Lovely thoughts and perspective in this one. So, what does the moon look like close up - is he as cheesy as is said about him? :)) LOL Kate xx

I think you are predicting a day when man will fly on his own like an eagle. Well crafted poem with deep meaning and profound insight. Your brother abdi-Noor
