Thanks to Gene and Pearl, who make the best candles in Texas. :) South Texas Candles, located right here in Burleson!

Crisp, spicy, the autumn air; aromas
of pumpkins, apples, cinnamon; Fall
twitches the nose with enticing
scents of the season; candles
bring pleasure to my home.

YUM! This is a totally delightful and tantalizing write, Karla!

I have a few of those wonderfully scented homemade candles in my own home. Autumn is my favorite season, and you have captured the essence perfectly!

Good poem, Karla! You've gotten my senses -- and taste buds applauding! Now, I think I'll bake a few apple and pumpkin pies!

Just make sure you keep an eye on those flames, Karla, and make sure there's a window open somewhere to let in some air. Candles, when lit, have a way of robbing the air of oxygen!

God Bless

The relaxation of an apple cinnamon candle is as relaxing as your pen sweet Karla. The mere suggestion here works for me.

Oh Carla, you've just described our home. My wife has never met a candle she didn't like. Trouble is, that aroma hides the aroma of her wonderful cooking.

I agree, Karla! I love candles ... does this place have mail order through a website? I would like to try their candles.

You sure captured the essence of what candles are all about, my friend.
