Where Is The Sun??

This morning's brief snowfall inspired this one. :)

Winter returns in a blue
rrrrrrrushhhhhh of wind, biting the buds
off trees, nipping the nose.  I
attempt to find warmth in words
to thaw the chill in my bones,
hoping to melt the stumps that
were fingers.  Where is  the sun??
Perhaps, it's in this poem.

I agree but perhaps soon you can enlarge that small patch of orange in the sea of blue as the days grow longer once again.

O, Karla, with your rrrrrrushhhhhh wind I went scurrying for a sweater. Pity my brothers if your words affect them as they do me.

There is much warmth in the words that we read if we let them fire the dersire to write and read more. Then we will forever be able to Spring into the basking warmth of summer. Since it is snowing outside, I am thankful for your warm words. Thanks,

Yes indeed, Karla, the sun is always in your poetry! This is so evocative of an actual cold wintery day! The imagery is so real I can feel the chill in my bones, too. Very well done.
Love,
CJ
