You are such a gifted WeatherGirl, Karla. You could devote a whole book to the subject of the elements and each offering would be unique and totally scintillating. "Changing of the guard" is a lovely way to express the changing season. Like your poem says, I'm happy to when I see the weather change to warmer temperatures.
A homonymless man writes shows what it's like to look up the laid he skirts when you’re lying prone(d) to the sidewalk, beer / joint / needle dangling from your hand /lips / arm.
