I'm ready! :) The promised renovation is finally taking place.
... renewal isn't only in the Spring season, but also, here at home: apartment renovation. The roof replaced; old siding removed; new, bright with promise. Pretty soon, the walls will sprout new coats of paint; new carpeting will bloom underfoot; new tiled floors will await the kiss of my feet; new appliances will be waiting for my return; windows sealed to keep the weather where it belongs: outside. New doors! C E I L I N G F A N S !! Almost everything boxed, waiting for the signal to move: new opportunities to convert my house into the home I always wanted. Spring isn't just for flowers. :)
Amazing write, I am glad you are getting renovations when we are done paying for this place we will be doing the same as it is desperately needed here as well

This is really exciting, Karla, uplifting and bright. It does our soul good to have a clean and bright house, it lifts the spirits in ways that we don't even expect. A fresh new place puts us into a peaceful spot that is not unlike breathing in the glorious smell of sheets dried outside on a clothesline...do they even have those anymore??? I do, but then I am a boomer! I hope you love the renovation!!
