You are a treasure, do not let yourself be convinced that you are inadequate because you are not, the Lord uses you in a mighty way, and I am blessed to count you amoungst my selective list of favorite poets.

This is not coming from a Storm-Spinner!!!!
Your poetry isn't inadequate, you aren't inadequate, you just suffer the blues that everybody has from time to time.
Take a picture of your favorite one and throw dards at it, you will see all the frustration go away at the ridiculous scene and you soon will start laughing.
You are a top Poet, don't dare ever to forget it.

Karla, I think we all have these moments. You certainly aren't inadequate. We all are unique in our own way. We shouldn't compare ourselves with others. Just because someone is called a winner does not mean that they are better.

every poet is valid and their work competent ... not everything we write is successful in the sense of reaching to others ... that comes with the territory ... writing is a joy ... let that joy fill your heart ... that joy will more than make you feel adequate ...

We girls are sometimes harder on ourselves than any other person couild ever be. I'm guilty of this self abuse . We want more and we try hard to be how we estemem ourselves to be and when we come up short...we fold. You're okay with me Karla. I think you are a complete joy!

Somtimes our minds and hearts need to write the dark thoughts that our muses sends us in order to move ahead and find the light. Your work is far from inadaquette that is for sure...keep it from the heart.

Because you are human dear Karla! We ALL go through this.. I feel inadequate all the time, to the point of doubting myself, I get a little scared when I post something, thinking I will be ridiculed. But I feel more confident all the time, because of the people here at AD, and because of you. Thanks for being honest in this write, and for being you.

First of all, you are NOT "inadequate"; you are as capable as anyone else here! I happen to love how you write; you just have to believe that and get past the "number of reviews" (something I have to learn as well). Writing is a learning process: we write, we rewrite, and in the process, we grow. Look how far you have come; your talents as a poet is impeccable: I could never be as good as you! You are a fantastic poet, and if people don't read or review you, so what. It's their loss. You have your words out there; one day someone'll will take notice and say, "WOW"!!

Karla, I know it isn't easy, but please don't throw your gift away. Everybody is hard on themselves, you aren't the only one. I am hard on myself every day when it comes to my stories; I am always striving to improve. It's hard, but if we want to become better at our craft, we must do this. Nothing inadequate in this fine piece of poetry depicting one's feelings and being too hard on oneself. You are a fine poet and when you write from the heart no poet can match you.
