When one can pick up the pen to write after a tiring day of work, writing is certainly in their blood and serves as a trusted friend and companion. Your poem is great--expressing the idea of putting the woes of the day to rest along with your tired body.

Neat way to put a tired day to bed. As always, a great write!
I know the feeling my friend, it's been a long week and a long day today, I've been helping a friend give a household shower at our church, had to cook for that, and been babysitting, while also helping my daughter with a remodeling project! It's been a long one, I too am about to retire for the day! Enjoyed this much!
