My job, gone. Had a problem with the boss and other issues not getting resolved. Back to square one ...
If God Is Teasing, I Wish
...He'd stop. Enough is enough. I'm tired of Him laughing at my expense. Troubles keep wrapping themselves around my feet; they tangle and trip me up; I fall flat on my face. It's getting harder to get up after each plunge to the dirt. Does He enjoy playing me the fool He thinks I am?
Chin-up,Shoulders-Square,Close-Ranks,No-Enemy-Spare!

Your blaming the wrong god if you think your Creator does this.
satan is the god of this world. he is the one this poem should be focused on...notice how I have not capitalized anything to do with him?

karla, how sad, i read all the others so that it would help me comment. i agree mostly with Jones, Palumbo, and Bowling, all who wrote below. i never think God teases, although i do think he has a great sense of humor. your case is certainly not about humor. get closer to God instead of doubting. as far as fools, i think He knows we all are! (to Him because He is so omnipotent, etc.) but then how He loves us, He who created us. do some networking immediately. i know something good and better is going to happen.
Ah Karla, No God is not teasing...He's not a cruel God at all. He's a God of love. What you're experiencing is the devil at work, doing his best to make you think God doesn't care. It's time to put your foot down. Look the devil in the eyes and tell him ..."enough is enough, for it is written, God has promised never to leave me or forsake me. From now on whatever I do, I will do it to the glory of God." Now, ask God for the job He has for you. If there is something you particularly enjoy doing, Karla, ask God to reveal this situation. Be specific. Then listen for His promptings. Remember, God created you for a purpose. He did not create you to entertain Him. He's much bigger than that. Okay, enough said. :) Chin up...face the world with confidence and expect an amazing miracle.
Have you read the Trilogy "Conversations with God" by Neale Donald Walsch? The movie is also amazing.
I seem to see a connection to my recent poem on this subject and that is good for it shows that it has made you think and question the validity of laughing or not laughing at our troubles and woes.
Karla I do not make light of anyones troubles for when it comes to health, finances, lost jobs and even lost love I have experienced my fair share and I also felt rage, anger and dispair as each blow hit me over the past few years but...I still believe that in the grand scheme of things and in the total score card of life we have to look back and say each and every one of us that we are ahead of the game just to be alive and to express yes even the bad moments of our lifes.

Karla, life is full of trials & tribulations...keep your chin up, I know you will make it through this! I know many of the happenings in my life that I thought were the WORST...turned out I was so blessed that it happened as it did. I'm praying all will be with you.
I doubt if he think you a fool...I am sure it is to make things better at the end....HE has bigger plans for you sis...trust me!!

I really relate to this and I think many people will. Its that age-old question/debate of "How can a God of love allow this to happen?" We are subject to trials and tribulations because we are mere mortals, prone to decay, disease, etc. We have free-will and can make wrong choices. I have felt like this on numerous times in my life so far and I relate to your poem 100%!! It can be so difficult when all seems bleak. Sometimes I've felt God is not there, sometimes the opposite. We have to be brave and accept life presents challenges that can actually make us stronger people in the end :o)

Teasing can be playful or hurtful. This well accomplished poem gives the urgency of the hurtful type of teasing and coming from God, no less. But as always, next day something very nice happens and we have something to than Him for, the teasing all but forgotten - or at least that's what I hope!
The trick is to never, ever give up! If God is teasing, then be defiant. Tell yourself you can do this, no matter how hard you must try. Remember the little train? I think I can, I think I can, I think I can,........I DID! and YOU WILL, have faith in yourself. You have done it before, now it is time to do it again........

My dear Karla, be steadfast and pray on...despite the tricks of the obsticles that life has a way of throwing at you. Don't let the enemy attack your mind...he has a way of doing this when we are at a low point. Be determined and wait on God, believe with all your heart, He will make a way, and has a way of taking a bad situation and working it out and turning it into good! Be patient and wait on Him, for He is an on time God! I have found just when I didn't think I could bear a situation or stand anymore, He always comes through! You're in my prayers dear friend!
