That has worked for me. Upon rare occassion and mostly in the winter when I was watching for our latest snow storm, do I watch the news or any tv really. sometimes I'll catch a movie on hbo yet my favorite channels are history, tlc and animal planet. I can't even watch cartoons. I'll put on the new age sirus channel and write/read or just watch the birds outside my windows. Lady J

Karla, My memory verse this week is: "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee." Yup! I don't waste time with the newspaper, radio, or TV (news or sitcoms). I don't like being forced into depression. Great write!

Key word is sensationalism, that is what brings in the viewers. Need to read between the lines or change the channel.....Cute!
