I agree, no one who is disabled should have to wait, but as you stated there are so many who do not truly deserve disability who have claimed for one reason or another ang recieved it dishonestly it has created a waiting line for those whom deserve it. The abuse in this situation has also caused such a doubt it seems when one is physically disabled that it is a waiting game! My mom just got hers recently, we prayed hard as we will for you and Karen! In our prayers!

Yes I know all to well what that is like for although it was a government ordered doctor who told me I could no longer work for the government after 30 years of service, the government then told me I couldn't get my pension cause I wasn't disabled...it took two years and a forest of appeals to finally get it and then i got nailed almost fifteen thousand in taxes because of it. Scary world out there for the little people..

It's a pity, isn't it? You've said it: those who need disability (like me, like you) can't get it (or get it increased), while those who DON'T need it take advantage of the system and abuse it, and yet they are the ones who get it. Go figure; it doesn't make any sense; no, our GOVERNMENT doesn't make any sense! Very well penned, I feel your frustrations in this write! BRAVA!
