It looks like you had another wet day in Texas.. We got rain also, but it went away in the late afternoon. We had a cookout and went to the fireworks. Hope it stops soon for all of you.. You have had your share and more.........M

Watched the news this morning, saw where there are those that were rowing boats through the water...my heart goes out to you guys, I hope the rain will cease to a normal rainfall...glad I didn't see you and Karen in one of those boats. Keeping positive thoughts for the sun to shine down on you my friend!

It is not so much sun here in Sweden, rain with all the trimmings, but they assure us that better times are coming.

Can only imagine what this is like for you, Karla. As for me, I am altogether moody if the sun doesn't shine, like being sealed in concrete. So good job I am not your Job's comforter out there.

... Anecdotally, Glastonbury Festival was the total mudbath it always is over here a couple of weeks' ago... I heard of one person who bought up 3500 pairs of wellies at £4 a pair and sold them on site for £75 a pair... Guess the sun was shining for HIM at any rate!!

Just an idea... Perhaps, in your case, it might be snorkel and flippers... LOL and keep sailing, Kate xx

The weather pattern we've been in HAS been very frustrating; a lot of celebrations are going to be threatened if this stubborn low doesn't go aWAY! NOT good; I'd rather see REAL fireworks, NOT nature's fireworks, ya know?? Remember 1969?? JEEEZ! Don't NEED a repeat performance! Very well penned; brava!
