Daddy back in hospital: bacterial pneumonia and fluid in lungs. Please keep him in your prayers. :(

This bitter Heaven!
This Arctic sky, hard
As bone and just as

Pale:  flee not from us.
The eternal night
Will soon be here.  No

Life, no light, to warm
Our days until the
Spring:  how long to wait

To see the sun?  Pray
Not long.  Stray not far,
You wandering sun.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad, Karla. I will keep him in my prayers. This poem is so haunting and emotional. You have written this from your heart and soul.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

Karla,
your yearning here is palpable. Your words speak of bleakness, but the mere fact that you have penned them speaks of your hope and faith. And that bleeds through. Even if winter does come sooner than we hope, spring will always come off conquerer.

It is incredible how warmth are a little church or a little chapel, if its very old...the best, because there are many spirits that once came there to pry and not to feel alone, to escape from and emotional winter and from the real one outside.
Go to one of these and you will feel that all the spirits will wrap you with a warmth you won't feel anywhere else.
As for the wandering sun...he is a horny little one chasing the moon.
